Presentation information
All GD 2018 papers will be presented orally and in English. Invited lectures will be given 45 minutes (40+5) while presentations of contributed papers have to be made in 12 minutes (10+2).
The presentations of contributed papers are scheduled in two parallel sessions, therefore organizers kindly ask presenters to strictly follow the schedule.
Lecture halls A and B are located next to each other. Standard audio-visual equipment will be available, including LCD projector, screen, pointer and microphone.
The presentation file must be given on a portable USB stick in MS Powerpoint format or PDF format to the conference staff at the registration desk. The presentation needs to be submitted before the first morning session of the day of the presentation. The use of the laptop provided in the conference room is recommended. If you have a video or audio file embedded in the presentation we recommend using a standard video and audio codec compatible with Microsoft PowerPoint. All presentations will be deleted from the conference storage after the session.
In special cases, speakers can also use their own laptop. In that case, they need to pre-announce this to the conference staff at the registration desk. A VGA cable with male connector will be provided for connecting your laptop to the projector and a test during the break time is strongly recommended. Some computers require an adapter that varies by brand (Mac/PC) and even by model. Please ensure you bring the proper adapter that will fit your computer.
Please note that all speakers must introduce themselves to the chairman in their lecture hall and test the presentation/laptop at least 10 minutes before the start of the corresponding session.
